Helping other people in real life:

• person with cast with enviroment noise:
  • 80% bystanders helped to person with cast under low noise level
  • 15% bystanders helped to person with cast under high noise level
  • 15% bystanders helped to person without cast
• help to a female in emergency:
  • 70% if there is one person in next room
  • 40% if there are two strangers
• room vent pouring out smoke:
  • 75% reports from one man sitting in a room
  • much lower if there is couple of men - they are taking their clues from one another and build a shared illusion that nothing was amiss
